Privacy Notice
Last updated: 28 July 2026 · Version 0.1 · Provisional
This is a working privacy notice covering DNClimate's pre-incubation activity. A full GDPR-compliant version will be published before the pilot cohort commences on 15 September 2026.
1. Who we are
DNClimate (“we,” “us”) is a pre-incubation venture entering the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) Startup Station in September 2026. For all data-protection matters, contact derrick@dnclimate.com.
2. What we collect
We collect information through three touchpoints on this site:
- The CBAM Readiness Diagnostic at /assessment — the questions you answer about your firm's export flows, current emissions data, and readiness, together with the work email you submit at the end.
- The Ghana CBAM Exposure Brief download — if you choose to receive the brief by email in future, the email address you submit. The brief is currently offered as a direct download without email capture.
- General enquiries to derrick@dnclimate.com — whatever you choose to send us in an email.
We do not use cookies to identify individuals. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage; where you consent to that (or where required by law), Google may set analytics cookies on your device.
3. Why we collect it
- To generate your firm's CBAM exposure category and results summary.
- To follow up about the pilot cohort and, if you consent, the DNClimate platform's commercial availability.
- To improve the analytical accuracy of our diagnostic and public briefs.
4. Who sees it
Diagnostic submissions are received by our form provider (Tally.so is our intended provider; the final provider will be named in the compliant version of this notice) and forwarded to DNClimate's own secure records. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their own marketing.
We may share aggregated, non-identifying insights — for example, “68% of Ghanaian aluminium exporters surveyed do not track monthly PPA data” — in public briefs. We never publish firm-identifying data without explicit written consent.
5. How long we keep it
Diagnostic submissions and enquiry emails are retained for the duration of DNClimate's pre-incubation period plus 24 months, unless you request earlier deletion. The full commercial-version notice will set fixed retention windows.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR and equivalent frameworks, you may:
- Request access to the information we hold about you.
- Request correction of anything inaccurate.
- Request deletion of your information from our systems.
- Object to further processing or withdraw a prior consent.
Send any of these requests to derrick@dnclimate.com. We respond within 30 days.
7. Changes to this notice
The compliant, versioned privacy notice will replace this placeholder on or before 15 September 2026. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page with a new revision date.
