1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the DNClimate website at dnclimate.com and the materials distributed through it, including the Ghana CBAM Exposure Brief and the CBAM Readiness Diagnostic. By using the site or those materials, you agree to these terms.

2. What DNClimate provides today

DNClimate is currently pre-incubation. Through this site we make available:

• Public research on the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism's implications for African heavy industry.
• The Ghana CBAM Exposure Brief and future public briefs.
• A free CBAM Readiness Diagnostic that generates a firm-specific exposure category.
• The pilot cohort application ahead of the DNClimate platform's commercial availability.

3. What DNClimate is not

Nothing on this site or in DNClimate's public materials constitutes:

• Legal advice on your firm's specific CBAM obligations.
• Certified emissions verification or an accredited Environmental Product Declaration.
• A commitment by DNClimate to accept any particular firm into the pilot cohort.
• A guarantee that the exposure category output by the diagnostic will match the certificate cost the EU eventually assigns to your shipments.

You are responsible for consulting qualified advisors (legal, environmental engineering, tax) before making decisions that carry material commercial or regulatory consequences.

4. Intellectual property

The Ghana CBAM Exposure Brief and other DNClimate publications are © 2026 DNClimate. You may share them freely with colleagues and internal stakeholders, quote from them with attribution, and cite them in your own work. You may not republish them in whole or under another party's branding without written permission.

Third-party sources cited in DNClimate materials (EU regulatory text, IEA data, VALCO EPD, World Bank publications, Heidelberg Materials disclosures) remain the intellectual property of their respective publishers. Consult those sources' own licensing terms before reproducing them.

5. Accuracy of information

DNClimate takes reasonable care to verify factual claims against primary sources, and marks versioned materials with a reference code (for example, DNC-CBAM-01) and publication date. Regulatory frameworks change; a claim accurate at the date of publication may not remain accurate. Always cross-check time-sensitive figures against the most recent EU regulatory text before acting on them.

6. External links

This site links to external resources including EU regulatory pages, EPD registries, and public research. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of those external pages.

7. Changes to these terms

The compliant, versioned terms will replace this placeholder on or before 15 September 2026. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
